Policy details
- We work a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.
- If you work part time, your office days will be based on your working pattern/hours. Please discuss this with your manager.
- Teams agree how they will structure their in office days to be most effective, build in-person connections and succeed together.
- Managers are accountable for ensuring team alignment and fairness.
- We all take accountability for making in-office time purposeful and are thoughtful about how we collaborate and default to working in the office when team presence is needed.
- Practice visits and the Summer Conference are the equivalent of office days.
- On short working weeks where there is a bank holiday or you are taking holiday, please work from the office with your team for at least 50% of your working days that week.
To fix healthcare communication we need to work effectively together and move with urgency. To help with meeting scheduling, avoiding blockers and making collaboration easier we ask everyone to be working and available during our Core Hours: 10am–4pm.
Meetings may need to fall outside these hours. Please mark in your Google Calendar when you’re not available for meetings, so it’s easier when colleagues are trying to arrange a meeting.
If you need to be away during Core Hours (for example, you’ve got a medical appointment or you’re on a practice visit), please let your manager know and add it to your Google Calendar.
