We now cover up to £1,500 for new starters who are relocating for a position with Accurx, tax free.
Who is eligible for having their relocation costs covered?
- Someone who is moving from their permanent home in another country for their position with Accurx
- Being able to cover someone's relocation costs will be considered on a case-by-case basis - for example, someone who moved abroad during COVID but is moving back to work for us is not eligible
What can be claimed as a relocation cost?
- Buying or selling a home
- Moving possessions
- Associated travel and subsistence costs
- Temporary accommodation (such as an Airbnb) while waiting for permanent accommodation
Other expenses can be considered on a case-by-case basis. They may be approved if we are comfortable that it can be offered tax free, and that it is a sensible request
What does the new starter need to do?
- They need to keep the receipts from anything they've had to pay for that falls into one of the above categories
- They will then be able to submit these as expenses through Spendesk once they start with us
What happens if the new starter doesn't stay with us?
- If the relocated candidate leaves within a year of starting with us, then they will need to pay any expenses back, pro-rata.
